Feed mills.
We offer a wide range of services for feed mills. We can perform an on-site audit of your plant and offer support with well-thought-through production and management advice. VDS is also the go-to partner in the industry for spare parts and process optimisation.
Our consultants will gladly visit you to study the production process and optimise processes. We look at ways of improving your physical feed quality by adjusting the machine settings or changing the raw material mix of your feed.
Thanks to our extensive industry network, we are able to provide assistance in no time at all, supplying you with the right parts. If necessary, our knowledgeable technicians can even take care of on-site repairs.
Considering a major investment, building a new feed mill or are you expanding an existing mill? We will gladly perform a feasibility study to see how you can get a quick return on your investment. We can supervise the construction process every step of the way, in collaboration with our partners.
Nutrition.
We formulate the right feed, based on the available (local) raw materials and their prices, the animal’s life phase, local culture conditions and specific genetics. We formulate your feeds in which our premixes are incorporated, using our advanced software.
Did you notice a feed-related issue? Poor digestion, insufficient feed intake, unrest in the barn, or something else... In that case, we can optimise the formula with adapted raw materials and extra additives.
Expertise.
Feed mills and home mixers can rely on our sound, professional advice. We are happy to offer our expertise in the event of feed problems or problems in the barn. Are you organising a seminar? Being specialists, we are happy to give a keynote to your participants.
Did you notice an issue in the barn? Our experts can advise you about feed, in addition to changes in the barn climate, air quality, water quality and so on. High mortality? In that case, we’re on hand to help detect the cause and solve the problem.
Did you notice an issue in the barn? We can send one of our veterinaries. VDS has a number of specialised in-house vets, who are able to diagnose diseases, can suggest treatment schedules and vaccination programmes, and can provide health monitoring programs.
